On May 26, 2002, there was a mass at the Korean Center in Anaheim, that served 3 purposes.
1) Welcome  new Candidates.
2) Profess new Secular  Franciscans from St.Francis Fraternity in Anheim, the San Diego Fraternity from San Diego and the Emerging Community in Rowland Heights.
3) Certify new Spiritual Assistants.
